It’s autumn on the stunning South Coast of KZN, and we find ourselves hosting our third wedding of March. Today, it is Sibhekiwe and Jorge who celebrate not only their union, but also their shared African heritage—Jorge from Angola and Sibhekiwe from South Africa.
The Laughing Forest Beach Wedding Venue is looking absolutely beautiful. The weather has played its part perfectly, and the ocean hums a gentle song as small waves roll softly onto the white sandy beach.
In Elysium, our functions remain wonderfully private—both within the resort and along the beach—thanks to this peaceful, mostly residential area with very few full-time residents.
The Laughing Forest team proudly provided most of the services for today’s celebration. Debbie carefully curated the flowers, décor, and overall wedding-day preparation, while Menzi and his team delivered a memorable culinary experience.
Our sound systems—at the ceremony area, social spaces, and reception hall—were all supplied in-house, ensuring seamless quality throughout the day.
