The first of our weddings this March has arrived.
The sun is out and there’s no rain, although a strong westerly wind has turned the Indian Ocean into something of a giant washing machine today.
Our beautiful bride Donna and dapper groom David arrived last night with their two delightful little daughters and have been enjoying the opportunity to reconnect with friends around the fire pit ahead of today’s celebration.
The Laughing Forest team has been entrusted with most of the services of the day, including flowers, décor, ceremony setup, DJ equipment and some of the accommodation arrangements. Their dusty pink colour theme carries elegantly through all the areas.
The 65 km/h wind has certainly presented a challenge, but the terraces overlooking the ocean fortunately provide some protection. Our beach wedding setup also has further protection in the form of a sheltered chapel should it be required.
Today’s celebration is all about Donna, David, their two daughters and their group of 40 guests who have gathered to share this special moment with them.
We would like to wish them a beautiful wedding day and a lifetime of happiness together.
