All the way from America, originally done by Joan Armatrading. Today, however, it is Carmel and Michael from America that are our guests. Carmel, a well know actress, originally from South Africa, now living in Los Angeles with Michael, who hails from Chicago.
The weather is cool and overcast, but not cold. The ocean is calm, with a gentle backline break fizzing softly onto the shoreline. A group of 40 guests is gathered, ready to be entertained by the soulful sounds of Chris Jensen, who will be playing both saxophone and electric guitar—his music always a highlight. He backs up his musician skills with his DJ ability to read the crowd exceptionally well, as is often seen on the dance floor, pressing all the right buttons right up until the last song of the evening.

The Laughing Forest, through demand, has gradually shifted toward all-inclusive or perhaps more accurately “mostly included” packages. Guests often have a specific service provider for a specific purpose, which fits perfectly with what we are trying to achieve. We have the décor, DJ, Ceremonial officer, photographer and flowers covered, should you need it managed.
All functions are covered by our in-house kitchen, including Chef, Kitchen staff, Barman and waitresses. These services offer us a fantastic opportunity to create work for the people that live in and around our area.
