The last week of August at the Laughing
Forest Wedding Venue - Today we celebrate the
union of Clarice and Jose.
The Sardines, once a June spectacle of global wonder, still linger in small pockets along the coast — and with them the great predator fish that draw joyful anglers to the beach. Out at sea, the whales are everywhere, making their graceful journey back south.
The August winds are gusting, a hazy glow softening the horizon, but the truest energy today is the love flowing between this radiant couple. On the coastal dune terraces, Clarice and Jose will tie their special knot in a ceremony that reflects their spirit and devotion.

Liam Samuals . The décor, lovingly crafted by Clarice and her closest friends,
brings a personal touch to every detail. As always, Menzi, our food master,
will spread out a feast to delight every guest.
It is a true inspiration to witness this couple’s care for one another, celebrating not only their bond but also the enduring beauty of the human spirit — which we, at Laughing Forest, are so privileged to share in. We remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to showcase both the treasures of the South Coast and our beloved town, Elysium, the hidden gem of this region.
