It’s a stunning day here at the Laughing Forest, in Elysium, near Mtwalume on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal. The sea lies flat with a gentle mid wave break, where dolphins are playfully teaching their young to surf the waves. Out on the horizon, whales add to the spectacle with the occasional lazy breach and a misty waterspout.
We are honored to have been entrusted with the responsibility of hosting the entire wedding celebration for Naomi & Nduduzo.
Debbie has wonderfully been briefed by Nduduzo – his professionalism, promptness, and clear communication has been refreshing. His attention to detail has made working alongside him a real pleasure.
Today’s marriage officer, Pastor L Madonsela, has the privilege of presenting this radiant bride to Nduduzo against the breathtaking backdrop of the Indian Ocean, with gentle waves providing a natural rhythm for this most auspicious occasion.
Debbie, together with Slindile and Precious from the Laughing Forest Team, has created the décor and floral arrangements. Their creativity and skill not only enhanced the beauty of the day but also saved the couple tens of thousands of Rands.
Our accomplished chef, Menzi has prepared a wonderful meal, offering exceptional value without compromising on quality.
The photography has been captured by Masb Photography, while the music and soundscape have been curated by Gigs 4 Africa. Both have delivered their services with excellence and professionalism.
As we celebrate this beautiful occasion, we also pause in remembrance of a very special lady who had planned to join us today. She had even booked her accommodation here at the Laughing Forest, but sadly went for an operation and did not make it through. Our hearts are heavy with her absence yet filled with gratitude for the moments we are given and the blessings we share. We remember her today and extend our condolences to her family.
The Creator has blessed us with the perfect day to showcase this perfect venue and the services we are so proud to provide.
